We are looking for an experienced data/business analyst to join our Growth team – someone that wants to develop their skills and expand into a  business role. As a Growth Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping Hip grow.

About
75% of the role – Data analysis.

  • Analyzing and optimizing our marketing & product efforts
  • Developing tables/data structures, reports, dashboards, KPIs and metrics
  • Monitoring business KPIs and product metrics to alert about changes
  • Coming up with new ways to use our data to create value for our users
  • Analyzing raw data according to complicated business questions
  • Being responsible for data integrity and meta-data maintenance

25% of the role – CRM & Growth manager.

  • Initiating a plan and executing CRM projects and tasks in order to increase engagement and user value
  • Initiating a plan and executing Growth and User acquisition initiatives in order to expand our user base
  • Planning, executing and monitoring AB tests among all media channels in order to increase efficiencies
  • Identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for new strategic CRM opportunities
  • Making hands-on system changes, deploying new requests and fixing and making sure the system is smooth and efficient
  • Managing full-cycle CRM promotions including planning, budgeting, and risk management, through execution and post-promotion analysis
  • Accurately segmenting the customer database and develop appropriate messaging for each consumer based on behavior, spend, geography, etc
  • Setting up lifecycle communication plans
  • Accurately reporting campaign ROI

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in data analytics – strong excel and SQL skills
  • Proven experience in creating meaningful business insights based on data
  • Both a technical and business orientation
  • A numbers lover combined with a strong passion for business
R&D
Data ScientistNess Ziona

Hip is looking for a data scientist/ data science-oriented developer to join our core team and tackle difficult and interesting algorithmic and optimization problems.

If you enjoy solving complex, real-life problems at scale, in a place where every idea and feature could have immediate impact on the lives of many people – join our team!

Our ML / optimization code is written in Python, and our backend is implemented in Typescript. 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of development experience in an object-oriented language
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in optimization, algorithm development or applied statistics. Online courses may count here.
  • Ability to participate in short-cycle development, i.e. taking constant feedback from system performance and client feedback
  • Used to working in the cloud (e.g. AWS/Google/Azure)
  • Afraid of nothing (technological)
  • Experience with graph-based algorithms or with optimization methods – advantage
  • Experience in the smart-transportation world and/or with GIS – major advantage

Full-Stack DeveloperNess Ziona

Hip is looking for a strong full-stack engineer to join our core team, and develop systems and interfaces to track and manage large-scale flow of people and traffic.

We’re looking for developers who are interested in being involved in the entire life-cycle of each feature, and want to innovate and have a positive impact on the entire team.

Our main tech stack elements are: Typescript, Vue.js, and Python (for algorithms & ML), however we’re open to developers with any programming-language background.

We follow good development practices, e.g. CI/CD, automated testing etc., and value good design.

Other requirements:

  • 3+ years of full-stack development experience in an object-oriented language 
  • Experience with large scale web-based applications
  • Ability to develop features end-to-end, from idea through implementation to testing and deployment
  • Experience with consuming external APIs
  • Used to working in the cloud (e.g. AWS/Google/Azure)
  • Experience in developing a consumer-facing product or system – advantage
  • Experience in the smart-transportation world – major advantage
